  • What is a contact?

    A contact is a single person recorded in your account. Keap lets you store critical information, including your contact’s phone number, email, address, as well as meeting histories, payments, invoices, conversations, emails and notes. You’ll be able to make every customer feel like an important individual, because that’s what they are.

    How much does it cost to add more contacts?

    Adding contacts costs the same for all plans, but the cost goes down as you add more contacts. Enter your number of contacts at the top of the page to see specific prices.

    How do I add more contacts?

    You can add contacts during checkout, directly in your app, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Keap support for assistance.

  • What counts as a user?

    A user is someone who has authority to access the Keap software via their own username and password. Users can be managed via an admin account.

    How many users are included?

    Keap plans include a certain number of user license(s). Additional users can be purchased for only $39/month.

  • What is Keap implementation?

    Keap implementation is designed to give you the strategy, training, support and done-for-you services you need to get up and running as quickly as possible in the beginning and maximize the value you get from Keap in the long term. It includes:

    • Data import
    • Migration services
    • 2 months of weekly calls with an expert, then monthly and quarterly for your first year

    Why is a Keap implementation package required?

    After over 20 years of helping small businesses implement software, we’ve seen that the businesses that have the most success and get the most value for their money are those who have strategy, support and services to help them implement the software. When companies fully execute, they experience game-changing results. Conversely, those who purchase the software with good intentions but don’t fully execute, fail to get results, and that doesn’t benefit anyone.

    We understand that no one likes a bigger price tag on their software, but this is one of those “you’ll thank us later” situations. The time and money you’ll save with a successful implementation will far exceed your investment in even the most expensive implementation package we offer.

  • Is the free trial experience limited or locked down in any way?

    The free trial has most, but not all of the features in the paid edition. Limitations include an email sending limit of 10, no ability to process payments, and no ability to send or receive texts.

    The goal of the free trial is for you to experience what the software is like before you buy. When you’re ready to truly start using the software, it’s best to upgrade to a paid plan so you get all the features as well as the migration and implementation services, where we do most of the setup work for you.

    Will I need a credit card to start the free trial?

    No credit card is required for your free trial. Give it a try and find out first-hand how Keap helps serious entrepreneurs get organized, follow up and automate to create peace of mind, grow sales and free up time.

  • Can I cancel at any time?

    Yes. However, if you’re on an annual contract, please be aware that you’ll be charged a $299 early termination fee if you cancel your subscription before the end of your one-year contract term.

    To cancel, initiate your cancellation request at least 10 days prior to the next invoice date by calling Customer Support at 1-866-800-0004 x2 and talking to a Keap representative.

    Are there separate fees for receiving customer payments with Keap?

    Yes. Whether you use Keap Pay, or a third-party payment processor, each processor will charge their standard processing fee for each payment that is collected. The rates are the same as what you’d pay if not using Keap. Learn more about payment processors.

    When you accept payments with Keap Pay, our native processing solution, you get competitive rates plus complete visibility into all your transactions. This improves reporting and troubleshooting.

  • What type of support do you provide?

    With Keap, you’ll receive call-in support during business hours Monday-Friday, 24/7 online chat support, and email support from our U.S.-based customer support team. You can also reach out to your Customer Success Manager for help with strategy and finding the resources you need. Plus, you have free access to Keap Academy’s live training events and online learning platform, which includes an extensive library of courses, videos and webinars on building business automations within Keap.

  • Is Keap secure?

  • What is Text Marketing?

    Text Marketing includes one-to-one text messages, automated text messaging, text broadcasts and individual replies from broadcast messages, plus a toll-free marketing number that helps you efficiently reach your leads and clients. It’s currently only available in the U.S.

    How much do text messages cost?

    Tier 1 (500 messages and 100 voice minutes) is included in all plans at no additional charge, and you may upgrade to higher tiers at any time, starting at $19/month. Usage over your plan’s allotment is charged at $0.015 per text message and $0.01 per voice minute. This feature is currently available to users in the U.S.
